They Grow so fast

Joshua: I hope you aren't mad at me Ella. I'm being honest I dont think that would be a good idea just yet.

Ella: If not now when?? I assume you want to meet them one day, I'm not telling my parents I'm going to prom ALONE!!!

Joshua: Do we have to tell them we date though?? We can't just say friends???

Eric: So kid how was school?

Austin: Bad I got the cooties so I cant go back til next Friday.

Eric: Ha ha ha , you have the WHAT?

Austin: Cooties dad, you get em from girls!!

Eric was so caught up laughing he could barely talk.

Eric: Ohhh son , ha ha haaaa, and didnt you leave with a red hoodie this morning? What is that you have on?

Austin: Yea , a big kid took it from me dad, that and my lunch money.

Eric: Whoa , whoa wait a minute a kid took your jacket and lunch money?? Well son you gotta get that back. Where was your sister when all of this was going on??

Austin: IDK! Probably somewhere watching with her little boy-friend!

Eric: BOYFRIEND???? Ella talks to little boys son???

Tiffany: Well at leat he's willing to go with you!! My dream date asked out SHARON ROBINS!!!

Ella: Well, whats wrong with Sharon? She's nice--

Tiffany : NO WAY JOSE'. SHE IS NOT OK. NOT AS LONG AS SHE'S GOING WITH MY JEREMY.

Ella: Oh hush Tiff , that boy doesn't even know you exist for the most part.

Tiffany: WELL HE'S NEVER GONNA KNOW WITH HER IN THE WAY NOW IS HE?????

Ella: How is she in the way Tiff? Ha ha that poor girl knows squat about you. Haha.

Ella: I can't believe you, Joshua you wouldn't even get out the limo.

Joshua: I thought we agreed to not tell your parents just yet.

Ella: Whatever Josh, excuses, excuses. This is our second formal dance together, it should have happened the first time.

While Ella was off to prom and Austin with the grandparents, Amy and Eric took some well deserved alone time. Eric had been working on the back yard for some time now and invited Amy to see the finished product.

Eric was never the handiest man, his dad always tried to teach him the skill but of course as a teenage boy , girls were far more important. Its wasn't the biggest space, but he worked with what he had. He was proud of what he had created.

Amy: You really out done yourself here Eric. This is really nice, you added a bar, reaally nice lounge chairs and a hot tub. Looks like we got our selves a new hang out spot.

Eric: Ha ha no no no. This is MY area. You my dear, are just a guest, hmmhmmhmm.

As Eric and Amy kissed he couldn't but to think about his baby girl being into boys.

Eric: Babe do you know that Ella likes boys?
Amy:Well honey haha ha ha I believe she's supposed to be into boys.

Eric: No seriously babe, she has a boyfriend!!! I never even seen the girl's room after we re did it?! She treats me like I'm the monster from her closet babe. There was once a time, you know, when she couldn't get enough of me.

Amy: Believe or not its completely normal. I used to be the exact same way. She'll grow out of it , you just wait and see. Just wait she'll invite you back into her world. Just dont invade her privacy, she'll be even meaner to you then.

To Eric it couldn't get any worse than this. Eric excused himself to the "kitchen" to grab them a couple of drinks, as a result he detoured himself into Ella's room. One problem her door was locked.
"A lock?" Eric thought to himself. "Some nerve, too bad I pay the bills around here , this is getting removed immediately."

Ella's room looked like the typical teenaged girls room. It was full of light and color. Magazines and school worked occuppied her desk while most of her shoes and clothes occupied her bed and floor. Eric explored a tad bit in her drawers hoping to find what? He couldn't answer but that didnt stop him. He nosied around until he noticed her walls and the top of her dressor, which was occuppied with pictures of "him".

Eric: Who IS this kid? He's EVERYWHERE ... literally.

Eric: And I mean EVERYWHERE.

    . . . . .

    . . . . .

And who's taking all these pictures of them??. . . . What else is she keeping from me??

A Little Fun ... The More the Merrior

With every wedding comes a bachelor party, according to Eric's friends and family.

  ... .... .... .... .... .... .... .... .... .... .... .... .... .... .... ...

Being married didnt change much for Amy and Eric. Of course more children came along, well one, another baby boy who they named Alex.

Ella was all grown up now and having a teenager in the house had its benefits. An extra pair of hands to change diapers, make bottles, and watch after the other two when Amy or Eric had business outside of the house.

Amy: Great. You woke Alex. Eric I'm not going to get anything done with him up and Ella and Austin gone to school

Eric: Ohhhh he'll be fine babe. He's a good kid

Amy: Well you wouldn't know how much attention he requires after he's woken up. Now your gonna sit here with him until he goes back to sleep....and did you wake the others for school yet??

Eric: I'm on it.

ELLLLLLAAAAAAAAA!!! WAKE UP! WAKE UP! WAKE UUUUUP .. YOU HAVE SCHOOOL!!!
Amy: Well I could have done that. Its not good to wake them up like that, you know its bad for the body when your startled out of your sleep.

Eric: I do it this way because then I can kill two birds with one stone. If Ella heard me then I know for sure Austin did, see he has no choice but to wake up with her.

 . . . . .

. . . . .

Amy: If you say so hon' . If I know my daughter I know she's practically dressed already. Tiffany will be her shortly and they'll be off to school together.

Eric: Im sure I woke her up , just like I know Austin's up , probably picking out his jacket now

Amy: Ha ha ha. I admire the fact that your trying hon', but it takes more than that to get Austin out of bed dear. If I know Austin he's STILL in his bed snuggling those hidious dinsour covers my father bought him. I'm gonna go get the door...YOU go wake Austin.

Eric: Sleep. Right. HA I know my kid.

Ella: OMG your jacket is too cute. I saw the pink one when I went out with my mom the other day.

Tiffany: WE HAVE MUCH bigger things to worry about!!! I just got a text message that our school gets to have PROM this year!!! OMG I hope Jeremy Rogers asks me to go with him THAT WOULD JUST MAKE MY LIFFEEE!!!

Austin: Mom do I have to go to school today? Ya know you can teach me right from home if you want ma!

Amy: Austin dont be so rediculous , your gonna love school. You get to meet new people, make new friends--

Austin: AWWW mom. I really dont wanna go. There will be girls there. WHAT IF I GET THE COOTIES????

Amy: Ha ha ha , ohhh son youll be fine. I'm sure you'll have a nice teacher, and Ella will help you around if you absolutely need her. You have such a handsome smile to be so pouty faced.

Amy: Your teacher has my number incase of an emergency and dad will be to get you after school. He's gonna take you over to grandma and grandpa's to go fishing for the weekend.

Austin: AWWWW man MORE bad news. DO I have to go mom?? You know I'm getting way too old for that stuff, its for baby's ma!

Amy: Your going.

The Night

Time continued to fly by with Amy and Eric. Their beautiful daughter Ella was growing up before their eyes. They had finally began to settle down and get comfortable in their home as well.
Amy and Eric were expecting another baby , a baby boy this time. Although he was totally unexpected they were both happier than ever upon his arrival.

They welcomed Austin Bradburry into their world.

... .... .... .... .... .... .... .... .... .... .... .... .... .... .... ...

Upon the arrival of Eric's first son he knew now, more than ever exactly where he wanted to be. There wasn't a thing in the world he'd trade. Eric was certain he knew for sure this is what he wanted , now he wanted to show Amy, so he arranged for the two of them to have a special dinner at the Bistro.

Eric: You look really nice tonight babe, I mean wow.

Amy: Well thank you , you dont look too bad yourself. I just knew you were gonna throw on jeans.

Eric: This night is wayy to important to wear jeans babe.

Amy: Im glad you took the dress code into consideration hon'.

Eric: It has nothing to do with the dress code babe, its you.

Eric: Will you marry me Amy?

Amy could hardly breathe, she was so excited. She dreamed of marriage when she was just a little girl, and never did she think Eric would actually make such big commitment.

Amy: Oh my God YES. YES!! YES ERIC I WILL MARRY YOU!

Tears of joy filled Amy's eyes as Eric slipped the ring onto her finger.

Amy: Oh my goodness Eric. ERIC!! ERIC its beautiful...where!? WHERE?! How could you afford this OH MY GOSH ERIC!!!! I must be dreaming, OH PLEASE DONT LET THIS BE A DREAM.

Eric:  No its not a dream Amy. I love you and my beautiful children. This isn't just a commitment to you babe , its a commitment to this family.
